About Us

In 1994, Agustín and Rosa inaugurated the El Tonel Cider House Restaurant with the idea of offering something different from the existing cider house concept in the area.

While Rosa always kept the traditional cuisine of the Asturias region alive, Agustín incorporated creative dishes into our menu.

In 2002, we moved to our current location, incorporating the children, students of the hospitality school in Gijón, with the aim of improving service and customer attention.
